Guide to S.T. Dupont pocket lighters

Over the years S.T. Dupont has produced several lines of high-end pocket lighters.

Let’s see what they are.

1 – Line 1

The very first S.T. Dupont lighter, Line 1 (Ligne 1 in French) is considered by most the icon of S.T. Dupont.

The production started in 1941 with the launch of the first Line 1 petrol lighter, and lasted until 2013, when it was discontinued.

In 1952 S.T. Dupont launched the gas version of Line 1 lighter, with adjustable flame.

In 1991, S.T. Dupont launched Jubilee Limited Edition, a Limited Edition replica to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of its first Line 1 petrol lighter .

Line 1 lighter was available in two sizes, large and small. Large model measures 35 x 14 x 58 mm. Small model measures 35 x 14 x 47 mm.

It was available in two sizes, large and small. Large model measures 37 x 11 x 62 mm, small model measures 37 x 11 x 56 mm.

In 1989 a Montparnasse version was added to Line 2 range of products: available only in the bigger size, Line 2 Montparnasse is easily recognizable for the “S.T. Dupont – Paris” engraved on the front side.

Line 2 lighter is still being produced.
